What does ‘act financially’ mean?

‘Act financially’ is our catchphrase that implies the need to act responsibly with your money. Act soundly. Don’t be impulsive. Think through whether an expenditure is a 'Want' or a 'Need,' and so forth. Eventually, rather than going through that entire line of associated thought, you can say to yourself, ‘Act financially,’ and your brain will automatically react with the entirety of the thought process, minus all the words.

What is the difference between a Solutions Lite membership and a full membership? 

A Solutions Lite membership allows you access to enough of our tools and coaching that you can learn the basics of managing your personal finances. Full membership allows you to team up with support groups, earn rewards, fully benefit from coaching and have access to our full range of features. By offering a wider array of features for a nominal annual fee of $30 we are able to help defray some of our costs to keep this ever-growing site a quality product. 

Why should I use Solutions?

We provide quality tools, knowledge and support to help you understand how to gain financial stability and strength, while having some fun along the way. Regardless of your current financial status, it’s never too early or too late to improve financially.

What is the Harnessing Abundance: A Study Guide series?

While it is certainly necessary to possess basic money management skills, our financial situation is equally driven by our psychological relationship to money. Beliefs about money and its role in life drive our expectations and choices. ‘Harnessing Abundance’ is a primer aimed at helping to evaluate and improve financial expectations, beliefs and choices, thus harnessing abundance. A holistic approach to financial growth is a more complete approach.

As a new member, how do I get started?

We recommend that you start with our Guided Steps for the quickest, most efficient and thorough jump-start. The Guided Steps will take you through all of the tools needed to get your personal money management system under way. 

Why does Solutions not support direct downloads of financial data from my financial institution? 

There are a couple of reasons. Most important is that we WANT you to book your transactions yourself. Doing so provides you the opportunity to analyze the Want/Need status and to review actual expenditures vs. target expenditures. Staying alert to the gory details of your spending habits is a necessity. Secondly, automatic downloads from your financial institution can present a few challenges. Concerns include security, improper categorization, and lack of opportunity to evaluate. That is not to say we will never offer the option. Over time we will add features and may decide to add direct download capability in the near future.

What is a 'Want' versus a 'Need'?

A Need is a necessity. Examples are food, shelter and transportation. A Want is an optional expenditure that occurs based on a desire or emotion other than necessity. Wants range from a cell phone to that 80th pair of shoes. Sometimes the line between Want and Need is blurred. We Need shelter but we may Want it to be in excess of what we can afford or really need, for example. When deciding between a Need vs. a Want, go beyond just a cursory thought process.

Will there be advertisers on the website?

Maintaining the quality of a growing site such as this is expensive. To help defray costs, keep the site running smoothly, and continue to offer new features, we will use ‘sponsors’ so that the fee for full membership can remain low. We wil strive to feature our sponsors in as non-invasive a way as possible and ask that you thank our sponsors for helping keep membership fees nominal by utilizing their services.

Is my information at actfinancially.com reliable and confidential?

We take every reasonable precaution to ensure that your private information is safe and secure. This includes using state-of-the-art data security services.

Do you provide phone support?

We provide unlimited support via email but do not provide telephone support. We do our best to provide rapid response within 48 hours, but generally much faster. We also ensure that one of the company owners or a knowledgeable staff person responds. No outsourcing when it comes to customer support!

What is your refund policy?

In order to afford everyone interested in this website the opportunity to avail themselves of its Full Membership contents, we have strived to set the membership fee as reasonably as possible. Should you choose to cancel your membership at anytime during the period for which your fee applies, no refund will be made. The small annual membership fee covers basic administrative costs and is not refundable.

Do you have an affiliate program?

Yes. Our program lets all members, and others, earn cash for every five (5) Full Memberships (paid members). We offer 10% of the five annual payments every time you reach referral of another five Full Membership customers. If you represent a company interested in our affiliate program, please contact us via email.
